Our History
Our firm was originally established as BP Woodward and Associates in 1976 by Brian Woodward, with a focus on developing long-standing personal relationships with his clients and staff.
Tony Woodward, his son, originally joined the firm in 1989, having completed his qualifications at Price Waterhouse in Sydney and working briefly in London. Tony became a partner in 1994.
Andrew Rigney joined the firm in 1998 while studying for his undergraduate degree at Macquarie University. Andrew was admitted as a Chartered Accountant in 2003.
Bernice Bolton joined the firm in 2002. Bernice was a partner in a Chartered Accounting Practice in Johannesburg before moving with her family to Australia.
Brian Woodward retired in June 2008, at which time Tony, Andrew and Bernice formed a new partnership, continuing a tradition of combining our dedication to providing excellent client service and ongoing professional development of staff, with family values.
In 2019, we restructured our business and rebranded as RBW Chartered Accountants. While still adhering to our core traditional values, we also more fully embraced the advantages of modern technology to enhance service delivery and the professional development of our team.
